A La CARTe has long serviced courts in providing Communication Access Realtime Translation, otherwise known as CART. We provide professional and accurate captioning accommodations when a member or participant of the court requires assistance. We are able to join courtrooms remotely across the globe to provide top-notch CART captioning services no matter where our consumer is located.
Remote CART services are significantly more cost-effective than traditional on-site captioning.
Please note: this service is not the same as court reporting. We do not handle swearing in witnesses or exhibits. We are there solely to provide ADA accommodations to the Deaf/Hard of Hearing individual.
Before the Event – the Captioner will Need:
- Audio Access – phone line for us to call in, or a web-based URL
- Any informative documents that would help our captioner prepare for the session – case numbers, attorney names, names of speakers/presenters/hosts, etc.
